Straight Up Stretching :)
Hello, bet you thought "Tina Talks Tuesday" forgot to talk today! Nope, Never, Not Me. ;)
Just a little reminder to not overlook the important task of stretching. Stretching is a vital part to any exercise program, and can at times be the most underrated. But, not here at AMERICAN MUSCLE! We know how important it is to allow the connective tissue surrounding your muscle fibers to lengthen, thereby enabling your body to support more vigorous activity...like that at F.E.C., on Tuesdays at Cobblestone Arts Center, and Sundays at the P.C.C., only! It can also improve your posture, reduce the risk of injury, and increase relaxation.
Try to do some form of stretching every day. Ideally I try to do 10-15 minutes of morning "wake-me-up-stretching" everyday, as well as before any form of exercise during the week. The "Straight Up Stretching" class that is held every Wednesday evening, I've included a link (click on the title of blog that provides details to a local class), taught by our very own wise men, Tanouce & Crofton is a great place to start, or add to your stretching routine~ "This Class is Great for everyone, whether one is a student athlete looking to take your game to the next level, or even if you are 90 years young and just want to feel better."
