Fasting Benefits

Good afternoon Lovey Beings <3 Welcome to "Tina Talks Tuesdays" 

Today I wanted to explore with you the many benefits of fasting. As always please consult your PC or our very own "Dr." Crofton when shifting your dietary lifestyle. :) I can say I was a little apprehensive to mention my fasting practice, which I do one day a week, with my health care provider. However, to my pleasant surprise she was elated and all for it! Yayy! She praised my efforts and went over the many health benefits, such as the ones listed below:   

"Fasting is a willing abstinence or reduction from some or all fooddrink, or both, for a period of time."

*Increased Energy

*Increased Immunity

*Enhanced Liver function

*Reduced Allergy Symptoms

*Increased Metabolism

*Improved digestive Function

*Heightened mental clarity, "Laser sharp" focus

*Reduced Joint Aches and Pain

...Just to name a few. :) There are different ways to fast, so I will share what seems to work for me. I have my last meal at 6:00 pm on Sunday, and fast until Monday at 6:00 pm.  During this 24 hour period I consume water, organic green tea, 1 cup of organic black coffee, Braggs ACV ginger organic drink (pictured), Only...and pee a lot!
